This report details a study of the statutorily mandated pilot program to introduce reforms to police lineup procedures. Unfortunately, the study is seriously flawed because it compares unlike groups, those IDs with sequential double-blind to those simultaneous non-blind, but purports to say simultaneous IDs are more effective than sequential (when this may be due to officers' cues, not the format).
