James Starrs is Professor of Law and Forensic Science at The George Washington University. He is a Distinguished Fellow of the American Academy of Forensic Sciences, and editor of Scientific Sleuthing Review and a leading textbook on scientific evidence. He has testified at pre-trial hearings and trials about the scientific limitations of fingerprint evidence.
