Index of Terrorism Measures and Related NLADA Materials

Since the tragic attacks of September 11, there has been a flurry of activity at both the national and state levels, in both legislative and executive fora. Some of the initiatives have provoked intense debate about the appropriate balance between government powers and individual rights. The NLADA Board of Directors has directed that NLADA should serve as a clearinghouse for materials and information for both the defender and civil legal aid communities in dealing with the sweeping ramifications of the attacks and their aftermath for providers of legal services, their clients and their communities.
