A sentence to imprisonment of “at least one year” (whether or not suspended), and conviction of an offense involving “loss to the victim” over $10,000 will transform crimes such as theft, forgery, bribery, burglary, domestic violence, obstruction of justice, fraud or deceit, perjury, money laundering, tax evasion, and several others into “aggravated felony offenses.”
