CLIENT POLICY GROUP

The purpose of the Client Policy Group is to provide a mechanism for client inclusiveness and involvement in the association. The Client Policy Group makes its perspectives known not just to the NLADA board but, just as important, to the Civil and Defender Policy Groups. The Client Policy Group is one of NLADA's three policy groups, each charged by the bylaws with making policy recommendations to the board of directors in its area of expertise and concern. For more information about the policy group, including a directory of current Client Policy Group officers and members, click here.

COMMITTEES

There are three client committees: communications, training and membership. To learm more about the members and work of each committee, please click here.

CLIENT SECTION

At its March 2001 meeting, the NLADA board of directors created the NLADA Client Section. The purpose of this section is to promote the mission of NLADA by providing a forum for clients of legal aid and indigent defense programs to voice their interests and concerns as NLADA members, as customers of legal assistance, and as advocates for themselves. Membership is open to all NLADA members, with a special focus on NLADA client members.
