2011 NLADA Beacon of Justice Award Application

NLADA proudly seeks nominations by law firms that have devoted considerable resources and have made a significant impact on improving the administration of justice by engaging in pro bono appellate representation (criminal or civil). Eligible law firms have provided direct pro bono legal representation (to include paralegal pro bono hours) to parties – individuals or class actions – engaged in appellate review between October 1, 2010 and October 1, 2011.

  • Law firm awardees will be selected based on the impact of the representation on the individual and, if relevant, to a problem that is affecting the community-at-large.
  • Nominations submitted by organizations on behalf of law firms will also be accepted.
  • Nominations are due by November 1, 2011.
