Investing in Equal Justice

The National Legal Aid & Defender Association needs your help to uphold the American promise of justice for all! The equal justice community continues to be confronted with an ever-changing and increasingly difficult landscape. Across the country, health care costs continue to skyrocket, while wages are going down. One in every five U.S. jobs pays less than a poverty level wage to support a family of four. As a result, low-income working families – totaling nearly 39 million Americans, including 20 million children – are unable to earn enough money to provide the most basic needs for their household. For many, legal aid advocates and public defenders are their only lifeline and hope for justice.

NLADA, founded in 1911, is the oldest and largest national, nonprofit membership organization devoting all of its resources to advocating equal access to justice for all people. Through the generous support of numerous individuals and organizations, NLADA is able to provide critical training and technical assistance to lawyers and other equal justice advocates across the United States, as well as serve as a voice in Washington, DC, to ensure adequate federal funding to local programs.

We invite you to join our efforts toward achieving equal justice for all by becoming a member of the Equal Justice Investors Circle. Please take a moment to print out, fill out and mail in your investment today!
